75 hard

The 75 Hard Challenge is a mental toughness and self-discipline program created by entrepreneur Andy Frisella. It's not a fitness challenge, though it includes physical components. It lasts 75 consecutive days, and the idea is that if you miss any part of the daily tasks, you have to start over from Day 1.

Here are the 6 rules you must follow every day for 75 days:

✅ The 75 Hard Daily Tasks:

  1. Follow a diet

    • You choose the diet, but there must be no cheat meals and no alcohol for the full 75 days.

    • It should be structured and geared toward a physical or health goal.

  2. Complete two 45-minute workouts per day

    • One workout must be outdoors, no matter the weather.

    • They should be spaced out (not back-to-back) and both must be completed in the day.

  3. Drink 1 gallon (about 3.8 liters) of water per day

    • No exceptions. Missing even a few ounces means starting over.

  4. Read 10 pages of a non-fiction/self-improvement book

    • Audiobooks do not count.

    • The book must be personal development, business, or educational—not fiction.

  5. Take a progress photo every day

    • This documents your physical transformation over the 75 days.

  6. No cheat meals or alcohol

    • Reinforced from rule #1, but it’s worth repeating. Absolute zero tolerance.

❌ If you miss any one of these tasks, you start over at Day 1.

Why is it called “75 Hard”?

Because it’s meant to build mental toughness, discipline, and grit—not just physical fitness. There are no modifications, no substitutions, and no compromises.
